On Your Mark, Get Set, READ! 2016 SUMMER READING PROGRAM!
Kids of all ages are invited to join the Summer Reading Program when school is out for the summer. Fun, Free activities and programs to attend all summer long! Sign up for Summer Reading at the library. Can't make it to your nearest public library this summer? You can join NCRL's online summer reading program for kids or teens.
MASTER GARDENER PROGRAM
Mona Kaiser from Grant-Adams Master Gardeners will give a presentation on "Putting the Garden to Bed" on Thursday, September 8 at 5:00pm at the Soap Lake Public Library. She will talk about fall lawn care, trees and shrubs in the fall, vegetable garden tasks, perennials that should be trimmed and those that should not be trimmed, which perennials can be divided, planting spring blooming bulbs, which bulbs and tubers to dig for winter storage. And we’ll talk about general fall maintenance of the landscape.

Come by the library any time to record your Soap Lake story! Join us in using StoryCorps' new app to record, share, and preserve your stories for generations to come. Our recording center is available during all library open hours.
SOAP LAKE BOOK GROUP
The Soap Lake Book Group meets on the last Thursday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm. This book club is open to all and read both fiction and non-fiction.

SOAP LAKE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
The Soap Lake Friends of the Library meet on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30pm.
PUBLIC USE COMPUTERS
The Soap Lake Library has five public use computers and free wireless with plug-ins for laptops.
The Soap Lake Librarian provides great books to McKay Health Care and Rehab. Books are rotated each month. Encourage your loved one to browse the selection available to them.
