Links to Literacy is the early literacy program that librarians throughout the NCRL branches use in their weekly storytimes. Links to Literacy is a program that teaches children the skills needed to begin to learn to read. The branch librarians model book-sharing techniques for parents during storytimes, so they can incorporate these ideas into storytimes at home. Join us at your local community library for stories, songs, rhymes and fun!

The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books). TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which are licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.   Click here to learn more.

TumbleBooks are created in flash animation. If you are having trouble entering the site or viewing any of the books or quizzes, make sure you have downloaded the Flash 6 plug-in. You can download it for free here. It only takes a few seconds and you will then be able to view the great animation and hear the engaging narration.
