WILDFIRES: A HISTORICAL AND MODERN PERSPECTIVE with John Marshall
Thursday, March 3rd at 6:00pm at the Entiat Public Library. Wildfire has shaped North Central Washington landscapes since the dawn of time. Join photographer John Marshall in learning how we came to experience the horrific fires of the last two years, and how we have to learn to live with fire. John Marshall has a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Resources from the University of Idaho. Marshall has conducted a twenty-year photographic study, showing landscape and vegetation recovery following wildfire. For more information visit www.ncrl.org/investigatingourhistory.
Storytime at the Entiat Public LIbrary every Wednesday at 10:00am for all babies, toddlers and preschool aged children. Help your little ones to become readers by early introduction to books and language. We have lots of fun with songs, games, and crafts too. Storytime is also a great way to meet other parents and grandparents with little ones. Hope to see you soon and often!
"Reading to your little one is just like putting gold coins in the bank. It will pay you back tenfold. Your daughter will learn, and imagine, and be strong in herself. Your son will thrive, and give your love back forever." - Rosemary Wells
